We use the Client Portal to exchange tax information, upload documents, and track progress. The Portal also includes an App to make scanning and uploading documents easy. Your security is our top priority, and the Client Portal is the most secure way to exchange documents with us.

For business tax returns, clients will continue using Canopy for document uploads, ensuring a tailored approach that meets their needs.

For individual & fiduciary tax returns, TaxCaddy will be your new partner for uploading and managing your documents. Rest assured that this change is designed to simplify and improve your experience.

How do I login?

You will receive an email with a link to create an account. If you do not receive a link, request one here.

Where can I find my past year's tax return?

All of your past and future tax returns will be stored in Canopy.

How do I get a tax organizer?

If you need a printed paper organizer instead of using TaxCaddy, contact your local Haynie office.

What's the easiest way to scan documents?

You must download the Client Portal app. Search for “Canopy Client Portal” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

If my link has expired, how do I get a new one?

Request a new link in the original email sent by TaxCaddy.

What if I didn't get a link to TaxCaddy?

Request to be invited to TaxCaddy here.
