Client Portal

We are launching a new Client Portal January 12, 2022. We will email current tax clients an invitation to access their personal Client Portal. We’ll use the Client Portal to exchange tax information, upload documents, collect signatures, and track progress. The Portal also includes an App to make scanning and uploading documents easy. If your email address has changed please let us know as soon as possible. We want to ensure all clients can access their portal in January. After we launch the Client Portal, we will no longer use ShareFile to exchange documents.

 

To get started, you will need an email invite to join the Haynie & Company Client Portal. Initial invites will be emailed to clients on January 12, 2022. Contact your local Haynie office to request an invite after January 12, 2022. Upon receiving the invite email, you will need to create a personal account. To get started, click “Create account” in the email invitation from your accountant.

Scan Documents

The easiest way to scan in documents is to use the Client Portal app. Search for “Canopy Client Portal” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Tax Organizer

As of November 1, 2021, we will no longer mail paper Tax Organizers to clients. Your paperless Tax Organizer will now be inside the Client Portal. It will be available on January 12, 2022. For reference, we will provide a PDF version of your tax organizer in the Client Portal Files section. You will be notified by email when this is available. The PDF will be helpful when compiling information to provide us, including income and expenses for Schedules C, E, or F (self-employment, rentals, or farming). Our new, paperless system will make submitting your documents easier and more secure. If you require the traditional, paper Tax Organizer contact your local Haynie office.
