Israel was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, and has lived in Austin and San Marcos as well. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Lupe, since 2012. She currently teaches art to high schoolers and is also an art instructor at a local community college. They have two dogs named Coco and Kula. Israel is also a big San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan.
