Darenda Klentzman, CPA, is a Partner for Haynie & Company. Darenda received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University in 1992 and completed her Master’s degree in 2003 at University of Texas – San Antonio. She passed the CPA exam on her first try in 1993. Darenda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
Darenda has extensive experience with tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and exempt organizations. She also has expertise in preparation of Texas margin tax returns. She supports small business clients with their QuickBooks usage and assists them in maintaining their books. Darenda also prepares Medicare Cost Reports for Federally Qualified Health Centers. She has over twenty years of experience in public accounting and is responsible for tax preparation, accounting, and business planning, as well as oversight of bookkeeping staff and tax preparers. Her business clients include legal and other professional services, health care professionals, real estate construction/development, commercial real estate rental, restaurants, and transportation.
Darenda has lived in Texas all her life. She grew up near Houston and moved to San Antonio in 1994. She enjoys cooking, travel, crafts, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest love is all things Disney. She has visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World numerous times and hopes to someday visit all the Disney parks worldwide.
