In recent years, numerous business owners have grappled with escalating prices. A significant development arose when Visa and Mastercard settled a lawsuit alleging that business owners had been subjected to exorbitant fees. This settlement allows business owners to seek reimbursement for their share of these excessive fees incurred between January 1, 2004, and January 25, 2019.

About the Settlement
Claims will participate in a settlement fund totaling $5.54 billion, distributed pro rata based on all claims submitted. However, the actual amounts disbursed will only be determined once all claims are received and processed.
Submit Your Claim
Claimants must submit a valid and timely claim through the official website, paymentcardsettlement.com. All claims must be submitted by May 31, 2024. Claims submitted after this deadline will not be considered for the settlement. Since settlements are distributed pro rata, it may take considerable time for payments to be processed.
