Tax Manager Job Description:

We are looking for an organized manager who can produce high-quality work while maintaining strong relationships with our current clients. The ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions and take initiative while staying focused on results and the performance objectives of this job is a must. Staff development skills, ability to lead a team of professionals by example while also possessing solid time management skills are important as well.

 

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • CPA required
  • Masters in Taxation (preferred)
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations with a minimum of 5 years at the tax manager level
  • Comprehensive understanding of income tax laws
  • Income tax research experience and skills
  • Ability to manage client engagements from start to finish
  • Strong training & mentoring abilities
  • A proactive and responsive individual
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong management skills able to lead a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work > 40 hours per week during tax season
  • Ability to supervise and train professional staff
  • Ability to work in the U.S.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay: Salaries and signing bonuses are based upon experience and are always competitive with the market trends
