Melody Rasmussen, CPA, is a Senior Tax Manager at Haynie & Company. Melody attended Brigham Young University and is a member of the UACPA.
Melody began her career with a Big 8 firm and has worked for over 30 years in public accounting. Melody specializes in preparing returns for a variety of industries. Her main tax experience is in the partnership and flows through arenas and those operating in multi states. Melody likes to work on structuring and tax planning with closely held businesses and their owners. Since joining Haynie in 2019, Melody’s primary focus is working with real estate companies and strengthening the staff skills in these areas.
Melody is married with 5 children and enjoys traveling and experimenting with cooking new recipes together as a family. She enjoys reading, doing logic puzzles, water sports, and quilting.
