14 Oct 2025 Haynie Gives: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
This October, many of our offices across Texas and Utah came together to support the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events—joining thousands nationwide in the fight against breast cancer.
From Salt Lake City to San Antonio, our teams proudly donned pink and participated in local walks to raise awareness, fund life-saving research, and support those impacted by breast cancer. These events are powerful reminders of the strength found in unity and the impact that community-driven efforts can have in making a difference.
Why We Walk
Breast cancer touches the lives of so many—including members of our Haynie family. Whether through a family member, friend, or colleague, nearly everyone has been affected in some way. That shared connection drives our commitment to this cause and inspires our continued participation in these important community events.
As Larry Berghout shared,
“I’m proud to work for a company that not only supports its employees but also invests in the communities we serve. Participating in the breast cancer walk was a meaningful way to give back and show our collective support for such an important cause.”
Wellness and Giving Back
Participating in Making Strides also aligns with our firm’s wellness initiative, which encourages employees to stay active while supporting meaningful causes. The walk offered a great opportunity to connect with colleagues outside the office, get moving, and promote physical and emotional well-being—all while contributing to a cause that impacts so many lives.
Making an Impact
Funds raised through the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks directly support the American Cancer Society’s mission—funding groundbreaking research, providing free patient services, and promoting early detection and prevention efforts. Every step taken helps bring hope and healing to individuals and families navigating this disease.
We are proud to stand together—one Haynie team across multiple states—to support the fight against breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and showed up in pink to make a difference.
