Cindy Van, CPA, is an Audit Manager at Haynie & Company. She attended the University of Colorado at Denver where she received her Bachelor’s in Accounting and Spanish, and then later attended Denver University where she received her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. Cindy is a member of the AICPA and COCPA.
Cindy specializes in employee benefit plan audits with over 16 years of experience. Other areas of audit experience include government, nonpublic companies, SEC, and nonprofit industries. Before joining Haynie & Company, Cindy was a teacher in the Denver Public Schools for eight years. Although she has left a career in the formal education system, she still enjoys incorporating her passion for teaching into training programs at Haynie & Company.
Cindy is a Colorado native who enjoys having fun with family and friends, designing group fitness classes and yoga flows, dancing, karaoke, and paddle boarding.
