Jameson is an Account Executive for Moreton & Company’s captive team, Sequoia Risk Partners. In this role, he assists brokers and clients with developing sustainable alternative risk management strategies to lower their total cost of risk, increase profitability, and help ensure financial stability. Jameson specializes in captive consulting, feasibility studies, corporate governance, and risk & safety. He has been an integral part in forming Utah’s first group captives, and has assisted in establishing several pure captives. Prior to his professional career, Jameson earned a degree in Finance from the University of Utah.

Grady is the Director of Alternative Risk for Moreton & Companies captive team, Sequoia Risk Partners. Grady began his insurance and risk management career more than 15 years ago as a commercial insurance broker but saw an opportunity to provide greater options and more creative solutions for clients through alternative risk, specifically captives. In the last six years, the Sequoia Risk Partners team have been the first to form multiple group captives and assisted numerous brokers and their clients in forming single parent captives in the captive friendly Utah domicile. Grady has also been instrumental in working with the Utah Department of Insurance to push and support captive friendly legislation in Utah.

Jeff Jones, CPA, is Partner at Haynie & Company. He attended college at Southern Utah University where he received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting. He graduated in 1993. He has been a licensed CPA since 1998. Prior to working at a public accounting practice, Jeff worked in the mortgage banking industry. Jeff has been in public accounting since 1998. Jeff is a member of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA).

Jeff works on the attest side of the practice, specializing in audits, reviews and compilations for private entities such as non-profits, manufacturing, 401K plans and multi-employer benefit plans.

Aaron Abendroth, CPA received a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Brigham Young University. Aaron has over 25 years of tax and valuation experience within public accounting and private industry.

Aaron joined Haynie & Company in 2011 and is a senior valuation and tax manager in the Salt Lake City tax department. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA). Aaron began his career in auditing and transitioned to valuation and tax during the last 15 years.  Aaron is specialized in the valuation of companies and organizations for tax, financial, and due diligence purposes. Aaron’s background in accounting and tax assists in valuation analysis, quality of earnings reports, and due diligence on the purchasing and selling of companies. He is well qualified in corporate income taxation, partnership taxation, individual taxation, and related planning and business organization.

Aaron’s experience includes consulting with business owners to assist with entity set-up and structure planning, employee and manager issues, partner disputes, partner buyouts, cash flow planning, financial statement understanding, budgeting, and growth planning.
