On April 24, the Haynie team came together in Salt Lake City for a meaningful cause, participating in the MS Walk as a proud Bronze Sponsor with support from the Haynie Foundation.
More Than Just a Walk
This event was more than just a walk. It was an opportunity to stand alongside a community dedicated to raising awareness and supporting those impacted by multiple sclerosis. Team members showed up in full force, united by a shared purpose and a commitment to giving back.
Honoring a Lasting Legacy
This year’s walk held special significance for Haynie. The team walked in honor of our late CEO, Dave Peterson, who battled MS. His legacy continues to inspire the way we show up for each other, our clients, and our communities. Participating in this event was a meaningful way to celebrate his life and continue supporting a cause that meant so much to him.
A Day of Connection and Purpose
Throughout the day, there was a strong sense of connection, reflection, and purpose. Allen Woiwode, a Tax Manager at Haynie, shared, “It was great to see all the family and friends of those affected by MS show up early on a Saturday in solidarity with their loved ones. It’s great to see communities come together to show folks that they aren’t alone and have people to lean on when things get unbearable.”
