Haynie hosted their annual Summer Leadership Academy on May 11, 2021. The theme of the virtual event was Haynie CREATES leaders. Forty students from universities in six states joined us.
The purpose of Summer Leadership is to give accounting students insight into public accounting. The event gives college juniors and seniors a chance to learn from our experts and launch their careers. They enjoyed getting career advice and a self assessment from Predictive Index. In addition, they learned about daily life in Haynie audit and tax departments.
We believe in the importance of mentoring the next generation of CPAs. We plan to continue to offer the program annually. The event is a catalyst for internships and future employment at Haynie. We appreciate the opportunity to share our culture with these future business leaders. Thank you to all who attended.
