The Haynie Austin Office volunteered this fall with Community First, a 51-acre master planned community that provides affordable housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness.
The Haynie Austin Team donated and assembled Taco Soup Meal Kits and Pasta Meal Kits for the Community First neighbors. Additional team members packed survival kits for Community First. Donated items including new socks, toothbrushes, mouthwash, crackers, granola bars, hand sanitizers, and mints, along with hand-written notes of encouragement were included.
These survival kits will be delivered to Community First or given directly to someone in the Austin community who is experiencing homelessness. For more information on ways to volunteer or assist Community First Village, please visit mlf.org/community-first.
