Monica D. Corey, CPA is a Partner at the Midland, TX location. She is a member of the AICPA and TXCPA and has served as Chapter Director – Midland for TXCPA – Permian Basin since 2023. She joined Haynie & Company in September 2020 when her former firm Joe L. Torres, PC merged with Haynie & Company.
Monica has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M (Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2005); and completed CPA coursework at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
Monica spent her early years specializing in Federal Income tax, tax planning, and small business growth while focusing on the internal growth and development of those in her care. Her experience leading the Midland-Odessa, TX team and supporting their professional growth has made her a natural fit in leading Learning & Development for the firm.
As a mother of four spunky kiddos, and three more in Heaven, she is honored to serve on the board of Hearts Abide providing pregnancy and infant loss support. She also enjoys playing board games with her husband and kids, coaching her children’s academic competitions, and unwinding with yoga.
