June 10, 2020 – Haynie hosted their annual Summer Leadership Academy on May 14, 2020. Due to COVID-19 the event was held on Zoom, rather than our Corporate Headquarters. Despite the change in location, we had a great virtual event with 29 students from 11 universities across Utah, Colorado and Arizona.
The leadership academy is a fun way for accounting students to gain valuable business skills. The event gives college juniors and seniors a chance to learn from our experts and launch their careers. They enjoyed Q&A and getting career advice. In addition, they learned about daily life in Haynie audit and tax departments.
We believe in the importance of mentoring the next generation of CPAs. We plan to continue to offer the program annually. The event is a catalyst for internships and future employment at Haynie. We appreciate the opportunity to share insight and culture with these future business leaders.
