Randall J. (Randy) Jensen is an audit partner with an extensive background in industry, government, and not-for-profit accounting, and is currently in charge of the firm's governmental auditing. He also serves a broad clientele in industry.
An honors graduate in Accounting from Brigham Young University, Randy has worked with large local or regional CPA firms in Utah for 25 years. He has extensive industry experience in accounting, auditing, management advisory services, and income tax planning. Randy specializes in commercial and residential real estate development and construction, heavy-duty retail and wholesale equipment distributors, wholesale and retail businesses and distributors, highway contractors, mortgage banking, insurance brokers, oil and gas retailers and wholesalers, steel fabricators, and restaurants.
Randy has conducted audits with governmental clients throughout his career, including water conservancy districts, counties, cities, school districts, various special service districts, and not-for-profit and HUD-related entities.
His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA). Randy has also served on various committees of the UACPA. He holds a Certificate of Education Achievement for the Governmental Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting Program.
Randy is married and has five children. He enjoys many outdoor sports, including camping, fishing, baseball, basketball, football, and golf. He is also an avid traveler. Randy has served in various church, civic, and community organizations including Boy Scouts and Little League Baseball.
